〜くて・〜で

Joins two adjectives in one sentence (both … and …)machine translation

Formationい-adjective (drop い) + くて / な-adjective・noun + で

To say something is both this and that, put the first adjective into its connective form: い-adjectives drop い and add くて (広い → 広くて); な-adjectives and nouns add で (静か → 静かで). The adjective at the end of the sentence conjugates normally.

The two adjectives being joined should point the same way — both praising or both criticizing. If the two ideas contrast, use が or でも instead of 〜くて.

The adjective いい conjugates from the stem よ: よくて.
