〜たり〜たりする
Do things like A and B (listing actions in no particular order)machine translation
FormationVerb た-form + り、verb た-form + り + します
Use 〜たり〜たりする to list a few representative actions, in no particular order, implying there are other things as well: "things like reading books and listening to music…".
How to form it: verb た-form + り, repeat with another action, then end with します. Tense and politeness are conjugated on the final します: しました, したいです….
Unlike joining with 〜て、〜て (do A, then B, in that exact order), 〜たり〜たり only gives representative examples and says nothing about sequence.
