N5

〜のがすきです

Like doing somethingmachine translation

FormationVerb dictionary form + のが好きです

When you want to say you like DOING something, put の after the verb's dictionary form to turn the whole phrase into a noun, then add が好きです: 読むのが好きです — I like reading.

Don't forget の — saying 読むが好きです is wrong. The の here is like the word "việc" in Vietnamese: "the act of reading". If you simply like a noun, no の is needed: 音楽が好きです.

Note that the particle before 好き is が, not を. To say "really like", add とても; for "don't like very much", use あまり好きじゃありません.
