〜から
Because … (giving a reason)machine translation
FormationClause (reason) + から、+ clause (result)
Put から right after the clause stating the reason; the clause that follows is the result, a suggestion, or an invitation. The order matches Vietnamese "vì … nên …": reason first, result second.
In polite speech, the reason clause usually keeps the polite form: 寒いですから、…. When answering a どうして (why) question, you just state the reason and end with からです.
Don't confuse this with the から meaning "from" in から〜まで — there, から follows a noun of place or time, while here it follows a whole clause.
